On many of his illustrations, he achieves a wonderful sence of luminous warmth through the use of a setting sun and interior illumination where golden light is complimented with rich shades of blue, he states,

| This issuewww.richardchenoweth.com. Of note is the beautiful luminosity, vibrancy and coordination of color Richard achieves with his watercolors. His compostitions draw the eye into them by using the frame to cut the foreground.
His perspectives are constructed using Mac and FormZ and the image is transferred for the final watercolor; all work is done by his own hand. He also provides animations when needed by his clients. Trained and licensed as an Architect, he holds a Master of Architecture and has additional experience in painting, sculpture, engineering and surveying. In 2001, Richard won the Gabriel Prize for architectural drawing, and, in collaboration with two colleagues, won the national design competition for Washington DC

Working exclusively in the digital medium, AMD achieves a wonderful sence of natural light and reflection in their illustrations, while also demonstrating a refined awareness of color. These combined elements produce a "softer photorealistic rendering." Of interest is how they highlight the center of interest and allow the edges to fad into the gray range.
The AMD team creates their perspectives using a combination of software programs that includes AutoCAD, 3D Studio and Hi-Res QFx on the PC platform. All of AMD's illustrators and animators have educational backgrounds in Architecture, graduating from RISD and Roger Williams. - NYSR

| This issuewww.clarksmithrendering.com. Of interest is the consistency and quality of Clark's work with regard to composition, detail and color harmony. His watercolors are created by first blocking out his perspective with a computer, then he traces this with pencil adding detail along the way onto watercolor paper. He works alone in his studio although currently his 10 year old son is helping set up an e-mail account. Before opening his studio in 1993, Clark Smith had spent 15 years as a Senior Designer, Project Architect, and Project Manager with firms in NYC, Atlanta, and Miami. | BUCCALO, NICHOLAS
| This issues's NOTED ILLUSTRATOR is Nicholas Buccalo of The Drawing Studio, in New York City, NY, www.DrawingStudio.com. Of note is the warm color palattes and cohesion of his compositions.
Working closely with additional specialist within The Drawing Studio office, Mr. Buccalo identifies with the character of each project and captures that mood on paper, through digital means. Trained as a project designer, Mr. Buccalo balances his insight of a projects 'soul' with the communications requirements of the illustration to produce compeling and fully colored pieces. Additional experience comes from his education: BS Architecture from Ohio State University and Master in Architecture from Harvard University as well as working for several well established Architectural firms as an Architect including Huygens DiMella, Philip Johnson and Studio Einauldi in Rome.
Mr. Buccalo's experience also extends into other associated areas of interest including Piano composition, Architectural Design and Mechanics Design.
