03.27.2012 - Announcing The 2012 NYSR Portfolio!
Dear Friends, we're pleased to announce the launch of the 2012 NYSR Portfolio# 7. We anticipate to ship the new books out to 6000-plus NYC architects and designers this fall. It's a very attractive, full color 9x12" book, usually between 40-80 pages in length, featuring the work of NYSR Members.
"In my 25+ years of professional experience as an architectural illustrator - through an ever-changing landscape of techniques and economic realities - I have learned well the importance of effective marketing and promotion. For me, one of the most consistently powerful tools for success has been my inclusion in the NYSR Portfolios. I could not recommend this book and this organization more highly for both the established and aspiring architectural artist. " -Thomas W. Schaller
Price-per page information and all other information will be sent out to participants during April and May. Please contact us to insure your inclusion in the book at info@nysr.com. We're also holding a cover competition among our members for the best image to use for this year's cover. If you'd like YOUR work featured on the cover, pick out no more than two of your very best vertically-oriented pieces to submit to us. These are due April 30th. Email images to info@nysr.com. A panel of independent judges from organizations such as NY AIA, The Society of Illustrators, etc. will select the single best image for our cover.
Looking forward to seeing you IN the next Portfolio!
