Ilker Kocahan holds a bachelors degree in Architecture with a minor in interior and industrial design from the University of Marmara, Faculty of Fine Arts in Istanbul, Turkey. He has been living and practicing in the DC metro area as an architectural designer and renderer since 2001. With 30 years of professional experience, he is a master in the development of architectural and schematic design ideas, rapid production of hand-drafted sketches, color rendering perspectives utilizing water-color, marker graphite and airbrush techniques. The project types he has engaged in include diverse mixed use commercial and residential projects, institutional and educational structures, museums, hotels, retail, urban development and sustainable design.
